Summary of Commercial Manager Job Vacancy - Hong Kong
A large scale construction group which has been operating in Hong Kong for over 45 years is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager due to continued expansion in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to a join a well respected main contractor providing long term career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform full spectrum of Quantity Surveying duties
- Handle all contractual and commercial matters
- Audit final account
- Handle payments & claims approval
- Liaison & coordination with other departments providing commercial advice when necessary
- Manage and supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors
- Prepare and present relevant reports to Directors
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working as a Commercial Manager in Hong Kong
- Contracting experience is preferred but not essential
- Previous experience of managing a team of surveyors
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Professional chartered status such as MRICS/MHKIS is preferred
