Commercial Manager

A Commercial Manager with the ability to commercially manage large projects is required to work for the leading construction company in Baku,  Azerbaijan.

Project Details

The project is a large high end residential development comprising of a large number of low rise (circa 5 stories) buildings and over 1,000 units. This is a permanent role and the company have other long term projects for the successful candidate to move on to after completion.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will report into the Group Commercial Director for the business whilst being responsible for the day to day commercial activities on the project.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience of managing large scale construction projects is essential. Candidates must have previous experience of commercially managing a project in excess of US $100m (as a guide) from start to final accounts
• Candidates who have a strong main contracting background are required. Preferably experienced with blue chip, international main contractors.
• Previous International experience would be an advantage but not essential for suitably qualified Commercial Managers who have successfully managed large projects in their home country

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• A degree (or similar equivalent qualification) in a construction related subject is required

Additional Benefits Package and Incentives

Basic Salary: Equivalent of £68k - £76k NET Basic Salary (paid is USD's)
Allowances: Circa US $1.5k - $2k per month accommodation allowance, car allowance
Benefits: 2 x Flights home per annum, Medical Cover, Life Insurance, 28 Days holiday + public holiday (approx 13 days)
