Associate Director QS

Construction careers and prospects are growing in Hong Kong as an excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly capable, self sufficient Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international cost management practice to provide cost and commercial management support and advice on multiple projects based in Hong Kong. 
 

Project Details

Reporting to the regional MD, you will be based in our client's HQ in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong and manage the delivery of multiple cost management commissions, providing cost management and commercial management support with your team to multiple clients in Hong Kong and across Asia. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage the day to day operations of the team under your direct control.
• Support the Director or Deputy Director to whom you report on a day to day basis to ensure provision of services adheres to Consultancy Agreement and to Client’s satisfaction.
• Manage team resources to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Brief, direct and supervise project personnel under your direct control.
• Develop business opportunities with existing clients and similar level counterparts in related disciplines of other consultants.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum 10+ years post-qualification practical experience in roles directly related to the provision of quantity surveying services.
• Solid working experience in handling Government projects in HK, particularly HKHA and/or ASD projects.
• Fully experienced in the provision of core QS services from feasibility / concept through to finalization of accounts and DLP admin.
• Fully experienced in the use of all major forms of contract. including NEC 3/4 ECC and PSC.
• Possess excellent communication skill and strong interpersonal skill and able to interact effectively with external parties.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree majoring in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.
• Member of HKIS and / or RICS and Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS).
• Accredited NEC Project Manager an advantage.
