Project Details
The successful candidates will be required to work upon multiple exciting new build projects in Kent.
Responsibilities and Duties
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be answerable to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be required to perform/assist with a multitude of Quantity Surveying tasks including, but not limited to:
- Measurements
- Contract Administration
- Manage subcontractors
- Valuations
- Cost/Value Reconciliations
- Variations -Final accounts
- Interim payments
- Cost Plans
- Tender Enquiry Documents
- Bills of Quantity
- Take offs
- Feasibility Reports
- Cost Estimates
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous commercial experience is highly desirable
- IT Literate
- Excellent communication- both written and verbal
- The ability to work well within a team, as well as independently
- Working knowledge of the construction industry
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A degree or similar equivilent in Quantity Surveying or a other relevant discipline is desirable but not essential for this role
