Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued expansion this well known main contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial department in Hong Kong. You will be exposed to varies types of large scale construction projects including building, civil engineering and infrastructure works.

Responsibilities and Duties

•  Assist with all pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties.
•  Take part in tender works including: analysis and bidding
•  Handle material taking off, pricing, measurement of work and valuation of variations
•  Attend site inspections and meetings when required
•  Assist with extension of time claims, certifying payments and variations, and final account settlement

Desired Skills and Experience

•  Some post graduate experience working in a Quantity Surveying role
•  Main contractor or subcontractor experienced is preferred
•  Site based experience
• Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
