The successful candidate will assist with the commercial aspects of multiple luxury housing projects in Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities and Duties
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be answerable to the Senior Surveyor and will be expected to assist with a multitude of Quantity Surveying tasks including, but not limited to:
- Contract administration
- Subcontractor management
- Conducting valuations
- Cost value reconciliations
- Change schedule management
- Variations (compensation/additional time/ additional works)
- Pricing compensation
- Client liaison management
- Preparation of final accounts
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Team player
- IT literate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience working for a housing developer is highly desirable
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A degree or similar equivilent in Quantity Surveying or alternative relevant discipline is desirable
