The successful candidate will work upon a range of mixed tenure private/affordable apartment developments.
Responsibilities and Duties
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be expected to assist in/perform a multitude of quantity surveying tasks including, but not limited to:
- Measurements
- Contract Administration
- Manage subcontractors
- Valuations
- Cost/Value Reconciliations
- Variations
- Final accounts
- Interim payments
- Cost Plans
- Tender Enquiry Documents
- Bills of Quantity
- Take offs
- Feasibility Reports
- Cost Estimates
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working upon mixed tenure private/affordable apartment developments is desirable but not essential for this role
- Working knowledge of the construction industry
- IT literate
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Organised
- The ability to work well within a team as well as independantly
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
A degree or similar equivalent in quantity surveying or similar relevant discipline is highly desirable.
