Assistant Quantity Surveyor
A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor has arisen to join a construction consultancy in their Croydon office. You will join a highly qualified team of Chartered Quantity Surveyors gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects, whilst progressing with your APC development. You should have a minimum of 1 year of industry experience.
Project Details
You will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working on a wide variety of construction projects in the built environment. Project values could vary between £0.5m and £200m in value.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist Senior Quantity Surveyors with the analysis, evaluation/assessment of tender reports
- Assist in the negotiation and contract formulation
- Preparation of cost plans
- Assist in the handling post tender qualification documents & procedures
- Assist in the preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
- Attending meetings with clients and senior colleagues
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1 year of experience within a consultancy is preferred
- IT proficient
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly within a team environment
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Degree in RICS accredited Quantity Surveying course
