Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Project Details

You will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working on environmental projects such as flood defence, energy efficiency projects, waste, and nuclear projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities will include (not limited to):

- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in overseeing the contractors on site as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Assessing, understanding, and assisting in the delivery of pre and post contract services as Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Production of accurate cost estimates
- Providing interim payment applications
- Cost reporting for clients
- Working closely with the project managers on site
- Assisting in defending contractor claims

Desired Skills and Experience

- Experience in the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure sector
- NEC contract experience is a bonus
- Experience working for a Consultancy, Client, or Main Contractor all favourable

Qualifications/Educational Requirements
