The Assistant Project Manager will supporting more senior members of staff and work as a part of a dynamic and diverse team delivering large-scale Capital Projects in the infrastructure (Energy, Utilities, Transport) sector.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate directly with infrastructure clientele to cultivate innovative insights and tailor solutions to address their specific requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on overcoming challenges associated with capital project and program delivery.
- Lead project initiation and mobilization efforts, establishing the operational framework and execution strategy.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of all project milestones.
- Efficiently manage project plans, logs (e.g., risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and budgets to drive effective project governance.
- Execute key project and program activities across the entire project lifecycle.
- Apply expertise to tailor services to clients with minimal guidance, including the development of high-calibre deliverables and presentation of project outcomes as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Approximately 3 to 6 years experience as a Project Engineer or Project Co-ordinator delivering engineering capital projects.
- Multidisciplinary experience including project management, engineering feasibility and design, contract management and procurement.
- Previous experience in consulting or a similar client-facing role
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex programmes.
- A good understanding of project governance and change management principles would be ideal
- Certifications such as PRINCE2® or PMP are advantageous.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field
