Civil Engineering recruitment continues apace as a major global rail systems and engineering firm is looking for an energetic, forward thinking Signalling Installation Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong and help to deliver multiple signalling projects with dedication to sustainable and smart mobility in the field of design, engineering, installation and test & commissioning.

Project Details

You will be stationed in the client's HQ in Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Organize and lead the full Project Installation Engineering Team both in Hong Kong and globally. 
  • Provide the list of deliverables with related schedule and workload
  • Propose the validation cycle of documentation 
  • Report on the progress of delivery documentation as per schedule
  • Support management for Quality, Cost, Delivery review of the IE activities, including Risk identification and mitigation proposal
  • Interfaces with internal and external Project stakeholders to acquire necessary data. 
  • Identify and report on issues on document and drawing delivered and provide REX on main route cause of issues and on reference library evolution
  • Performs Site Surveys during preparation and execution phase 
  • Liaise with BIM Coordinators to coordinate common Installation Engineering studies and deliverables
  • Ensure application of D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation Engineering activities
  • Work day and night shifts and at site works to suit project arrangements 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in signalling installation.
  • 5 years or above experience design, drafting or engineering. Construction experience is an advantage.
  • Experience of railway site management
  • Strong knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge in different market segments eg Urban, Mainline, F&M
  • Experience of managing Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives
  • EHS background
  • Knowledge of BIM procedures and tools
  •  Willing to work at day and night shifts, and site works subject to work arrangement.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor’s degree from Electrical or Electronics Engineering School.
