Project Details
This is an office-based role in Victoria, British Columbia. The Construction Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting project management, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations across various projects.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Help with reports
- Assist the team with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all project-related documents
- Coordinate and schedule meetings
- Serve as communication liaison
- Oversee day-to-day office operations
- Support the enforcement of safety protocols
- Taking minutes
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Understanding and knowledge construction processes, terminology, and industry regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interact at different levels with other key members of the project team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisation skills to be able to organise and prioritise your workload.
- IT skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is desired but not essential
