Senior Bridge Design Engineer

The Maxim recruitment team continues to offer fantastic civil engineering careers as our client, a blue chip global multi disciplinary design and engineering construction consultants is seeking to appoint a Senior Engineer with experience in bridge design for projects in Hong Kong and Asia.

Project Details

You will based full time on our client's HQ in North Point., Hong Kong island. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop bridge engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specifications;

• Coordinating the highway structures design process and integrating with associated environmental and structural engineering infrastructure;

• Responsible for production of bridge designs and drawings to relevant standards.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Chartered Engineer with Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or relevant disciplines;

• Minimum 5 years relevant bridge design experience with proven record;

• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English;

• Ability to design all aspects of bridge structures from conceptual layout to detailed design;

• Experience of specialist bridge engineering field in either post-tensioned concrete, structural steel or steel-concrete composite design will be a strong advantage;

• Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or equivalent related;
• Corporate Member of HKIE(Civil/Structural)/ICE/IStructE;
• Registered Professional Engineer (Civil/Structural)
